Fruits of trees and shrubs as an element increasing aesthetics of the environment of the city of Lublin in winter time
Summary.
An important part of winter vegetation in Polish cities are trees and shrubs with decorative fruits. Intense colour of the fruits, as well as mass occurrence on the branches of the trees causes their good visibility in winter gray landscape. Among plants studied in autumn-winter period in the area of Lublin a dozen or so species of plants were distinguish regarded as particularly ornamental because of their fruits. Those species should be factored when choosing new plants into urban greenery.
