Nutritional supply of vitamins in the selected group of kindergarten children
Summary.
Inappropriate intake of vitamins among the kindergarten children is one of the reasons increasing the risk of health loss and violating a child’s proper development. Consequently the decade menu was evaluated of 120 children at the kindergarten age (four-six years), who benefited from three meals: first and second breakfasts and dinner. The obtained results displayed
a differentiated content of vitamins in children’s meals, indicating the necessity of the menus modification particularly by providing the analysed vitamins.
