The paper presents the results of rising wave analyses of small forest catchment. The researches were carried out at Siemianice Experimental Forest Farm. The researches indicated differences in frequency of rising wave appearance in each watercourse, especially in winter half-years. Besides analyzed rising waves had a different elevation height. Analyzes carried out indicated also significant impact of forest transpiration on subsidence part of wave curves. Significant decrease of water levels caused by intense transpiration process was observed during a day time, meanwhile persistence of water levels in watercourse was observed during a night time. It suggested compensation of low transpiration by supplying water courses with ground waters.
