The importance of former cistercian architectural objects in the contemporary landscape of the village of Owińska
Summary.
The order of Cistercians, located in the period from the 13th to the 18th centuries in the village of Owińska near Poznań, contributed considerably to the development of the village building infrastructure. This study comprised investigations aiming at the identification of architectural relicts originating from the period of the monastery activity. The role served by these elements in the contemporary landscape of Owińska has been determined. It is proposed to cover all the remnants of former Cistercian objects with conservation protection together with the related cultural landscape, including view associations and panoramas with foregrounds.
