Effect of substrate composition on the mycelium growth of PB6 Pleurotus ostreatus (Jacquin ex Fr.) kummer)
Summary.

The research carried out aimed to determine the influence of various component substrates of lignocellulosic nature on the rate mycelium growth Pleurotus ostreatus PB6. Twenty one combinations of substrates were prepared for cultivation with different share of lignocellulosic components. These components were timber, agriculture and food industry wastes. For the best mycelium growth from among all substrates turned out to be the best multi-components substrates with majority of straw wheat. After 14 days of incubation the best growth was recorded in the case of D5 (91.6 mm) and D6 (87.6 mm) substrates. The worst mycelium growth was observed in B1 substrate (39.1 mm) which was made from apple pomace (80%) and straw wheat (20%).
