The palace park in Radojewo – an attempt to find the characteristic features of Lenné’s work in a garden composition
Summary.
The aim of the study was to determine the similarities and differences in shaping the composition of the park in Radojewo and other garden establishments designed by Peter Joseph Lenné. Having analysed numerous projects of that well-known landscape architect, repetitive patterns and schemes that appear in his output have been found. Then the composition and structural features of the park have been compared with the previously obtained results. On the basis of the performed research it cannot be explicitly stated that P.J. Lenné did design the park in Radojewo. However, it is possible to identify the composition features showing a strong resemblance to the arrangements made by that landscape designer.
