Disinfectant activity of Ecofair Water
Summary.

Fungal infections of building rooms can create serious problems, first of all connected with health hazard. The offered biocidal antifungal preparations frequently show low effectiveness and can be dangerous for living organisms. The new proecological fungicidal preparations are being presently searched only in a few laboratories. The substances show high spectrum of activity. A new disinfectant, named Ecofair Water, which is electrically processed, was tested during the research. It was found that the water can be used as a fundgicidal preparation with a positive effect. It shows activity against microscopic hyphal fungi which could be observed in rooms with the so-called “sick-building syndrome”. The most effective was Ecofair Water at about pH 4.8.
