The comparison of techniques for the clean-up of food extracts containing organochlorine pesticides and polychlorinated biphenyls
Summary.

The research results concerning the development of a procedure for the low-fat food extracts (10-13% fat content) clean-up for the multiresidue analysis of organochlorine pesticides and polychlorinated biphenyls has been presented. The procedure is based on solid phase extraction (SPE) after the microwave-assisted extraction (MAE) of food samples. In order to do this the recoveries of chloroorganic analytes in case of the usage of different extractors and different clean-up techniques were compared. Interferents were removed by SPE technique, the freezing-out followed by SPE or the treatment with H2SO4 followed by SPE. The biggest recoveries for chloroorganic analytes after extraction with an acetonitrile-water (95:5, v/v) mixture and purification using LC-Florisil in SPE technique were obtained. Moreover freezing-out in place of the treatment with H2SO4 has enabled to obtain bigger recoveries of organochlorine pesticides.
