The task of water structures is maintain damming as well as protect river bed against erosion and transport river sediment by dam section. This article analyses working conditions of an elongated pipeline of culvert in the Służewiecki Stream. It is an old culvert under Łączyny street to which two-wire pipeline was added. These conditions were examined with the aim to evaluate the degree of discharge limitation of the object by the inlet screen executed above an old construction of a road culvert. Moreover the conditions of debris transportation were analysed, particularly these clogging an inlet screen. Significant influence on limitation of capacity of object has an annexed pipeline The trash screen is another element that considerably reduces capacity of the object. It causes large damming up of water and therefore its clogging should be prevented.
