The protected areas of national parks are perfect places for various tourist, recreation and educational activities – mainly because of great natural and landscape qualities. This article presents the land development plan of manor house park in Barnimie for such activities related to the general development of the Drawieński National Park (DPN). The main design outlines refer to historical spatial arrangement of the park including the remains of the old mansion and farm buildings. The selection of trees, bush and herbaceous plants derives mainly from the characteristic protected and threatened by extinction species of the Drawieński National Park. Those were planted in 19th and 20th century on the area of the Western Pomerania. The proposed plants also refer to the old species used by the inhabitants for consumption purposes. Apart from the educational purposes the equal assumption of the project is to raise the tourist and recreational values of the park. The presented project aims to create a kayak landing-stage at the bank of the Drawa river, various platforms at the river, tourist routes, vantage points, observation decks and different elements of harmonious garden architecture.
