Urban rest and recreation areas in spatial planning based on town of Luboń
Summary.
The paper describes a design project for a sports and recreation park in Luboń. It is an example of spatial management of reclaimed areas of a former waste dump and derelict areas along the watercourse for new functions of recreation and rest areas in the town. The park design was preceded by the preparation of two planning drafts: “Alterations to the study on the conditions and spatial management directions for the Town of Luboń” and “Alterations of the local spatial management plan for the Town of Luboń – Luboń Północ”. The aim of the above documents was – among others – to allocate new recreation and rest areas for Luboń.
