The meadows of the Dynowskie Foothills were described in terms of aesthetical and recreational qualities on the basis of the geobotanical research done in 1994-2004 and extensive photographic documentation. 30 floral communities were distinguished, which occurred in various floral-rich habitat conditions (valleys, hillsides, interfluves at elevations). Numerous herbs and papilionaceous plants determining the aesthetical qualities of the meadows were observed in a given area. The considered green lands stood out mainly in terms of colours, especially as compared with the early-summer green forest flora and monotonous arable crops. Meadow herbs and papilionaceous plants usually smell nice, as they exude essentials ols. This, in turn, undoubtedly affects positively the human physical and mental state, which should be of a high importance while organizing the agricultural tourism.
