Rapid hydraulics structures – close to the nature solution of river training structures
Summary.

The paper presents rapid hydraulic structures – one of the river training solutions for mountain streams where fish and macrobentos migration as well as river bed stabilisation have to be achieved at the same time. The work is important especially in the time when the Water Framework Directive is introduced into Poland and we are all about to make important decisions in river management which structures are nature friendly and still protect river bed.
