Role of ecosystem products and services in landscape undergoing changes on the example Jeziorak lake

Summary. In the paper changes in the landscape in the direct drainage area of the Jeziorak lake were analysed. They took back to stages of the development of the man-environment system, i.e. for drawing from the ecosystem, the intensification both the farming and trade and the development of the tourism and the building estates. Landscape, in which the man depended on ecosystem products for his subsistence was highly natural and in case of the Jeziorak lake very diversified due to fixed features of the land. The growth of farming area and activities in the catchment area changed its type to natural-agricultural character. Buildings, meadows and fields were well matched with the natural flora. But waters were polluted from farmland. Recently the tourism and the building have been changing the landscape in many fragments disadvantageously to cultural. The disturbances in the littoral diminish the ability of the ecosystem to self-cleanse water and the stabilization of ground on the border with lake.
