An unusual history of the Spa Park in Świnoujście is closely related to the town history, its strategic location and development of the spa function. Since the beginning the spatial arrangement of the park has been undergoing changes in its structure and area. The aim of this study was to determine the stages of development of the park and factors affecting changes in its spatial arrangement. As a result of the investigations, four stages in the development of the park composition were identified. The stages had significant influence on the present composition, size and state of the research object. At present the Spa Park in Świnoujście is a natural complex of outstanding value, which requires multidirectional protective and revalorising actions.
